Bob began his career as an nondescript priest of Akbaar in the nondescript Outskirts Cathedral on Murion Prime. Like most priests of Akbaar, he accepted his deity’s philosophy of spreading fear and bad stuff throughout the multiverse.
Bob happened to in the wrong place at the wrong time when the PCs raided his cathedral. Long story short, the PC Bael’aran intimidated poor Bob into abandoning his evil masters. Bob barely escaped with his life.
But the encounter had changed Bob forever. Bob realized that while Akbaar was more powerful than Bael’aran, the deity had never inspired fear the way Bael’aran did. Why? Because Akbaar was chained on a distant plane, while Bael’aran is free to spread terror at will. The solution seemed obvious: Akbaar must be freed.
Bob nailed a list of grievances to the door of the Cathedral of Akbaar on Cania, the 8th Hell. Both the Imperium and the Church of Akbaar attempted to brutally repress his “Free Akbaar” movement, Bob remained hidden with the aid of the Dragonborn Tails. Eventually, the PCs were kind enough to slaughter all of Bob’s enemies and declare him the rightful head of the Church of Akbaar.
To recognize Bob’s promotion, Bael’aran gave Bob his honorific name, “Beelze-Bob.”
